Beeswax Leather Dressing
Product Description
Clapham's Beeswax Leather Dressing
Made With Natural Lanolin & Neatsfoot Oil
Clapham’s Beeswax Leather Dressing revitalises leather by penetrating it to make it supple and water repellant. In addition to Clapham’s Canadian beeswax, which increases the leather’s water resistance, the leather dressing contains the natural by-products lanolin and neatsfoot oil, which are usually produced to heal the animal’s skin. So, naturally, Clapham’s Leather Dressing brings dry, dull, brittle and/or lifeless leather back to life! Even if the leather is dry, it will absorb a surprising amount of Leather Dressing.
Beeswax Leather Care for All Your Leather Belongings
It is suitable for antique and modern leather furniture or books, leather coats, footwear and accessories and perfect for saddles and tack. Once the leather is restored (after applying Clapham’s Leather Dressing), you can give the leather a brighter shine with a coat of polish.
Benefits of Leather Dressing over Leather Polish
Leather conditioner, also known as leather dressing, is different from leather polish in that it works deep down into the leather to nourish and moisturise it rather than just giving a superficial sheen. It protects leather by keeping it supple to prevent cracking and is effective for waterproofing boots because the oils and beeswax repel water.
