Jawslide

"I bought two sets of jaw sliders for a Supernova 2 bargain chuck bundle that I got from Turners Retreat. The kit came with three sets of jaws, but only one set of jaw sliders (accessory mounting jaws) I mistakenly thought that I could just wind the chuck fully open until the jaws dropped out, then replace them with a different sized jaw set. Unfortunately this is not the case and I need to strip the chuck to make a replacement, which is rather fiddly, but they do work once I get the scroll ring into the correct position. Maybe I could modify the sliders?"
