For creating hollow wooden eggs or boxes.
Simple two section construction. Bond both rings onto small recesses formed in the workpieces and then screw together.
Remember to dry fit and line up the grain if using figured exotic wood.
Outer diameter is 42mm

"This is a lovely item, allowing the creation of a small box, the right size for a ring or small necklace. You do need to make sure the wood is dry as warping can affect the smoothness of the thread, once I’d learnt that the pieces are lovely."
