Pen Assembly Kit
Assembling Pens is very rewarding after spending time turning them, but unfortunately, this can be the most difficult part.
Turners Retreat is proud to introduce to their range of pen turning tools, the Pen Assembler.
Available in 1 or 2 Morse tapers this assembler fits easily on the lathe for easy construction of 7mm pens and pencils using the lathe as a clamping system.
Made of high quality plastic to protect pen hardware it is supplied with detailed instructions.

"I found these really useful - they do tend to stick in the lathe and so are harder to remove than say a metal drill bit mandrel. I have mixed views on the hole in the centre of each part - for some pen caps this is actually quite nice but for some pens it really does not help and I have resorted to slipping a bit of wood between the pen and the plastic. That said, so much easier than using a vice."
