Robert Sorby Unhandled Fingernail Spindle Gouge

"My existing Robert Sorby 3/8" spindle gouge had seen so much use that it was getting to the point where it was too short to re-sharpen either in a jig or free-hand on the tool rest of the grinder and I decided that it was time to buy a new one. I opted for an unhandled tool on this occasion and saved myself a few pounds whilst also having fun turning a custom handle in Ash. The level of service from Turners Retreat was, as expected of the highest order and delivery was made within 3 days. The quality of the gouge was also to the standard I am used to from Robert Sorby and was supplied ground to a fingernail profile and probably ready to use.
