CamVac High Filtration Dust Extractor: Compact Extractor with Bayonet Fitting (104770)

This compact 36 litre machine is ideal for general maintenance in smaller premises and workshops. In addition to wood dust and chippings, it can tackle workshop debris, nails, and many other types of waste with ease and features the CamVac triple filtration system for effective treatment of fine particles. The cyclonic neutral vane theory technology draws the waste into the drum with great force and directs it around the outside edge, keeping the filters cleaner and allowing the waste to fall to the bottom of the drum.

"Amazing suction with both motors going off the hose is blocked the machine lifts off the ground ????. Very impressed. I’ve got it running through a cyclone to stop it filling up in 10 minutes."

"When used with a small cyclone, this vacuum provides sufficient suction for a small workshop dust extraction system. I have mine connected to a table saw, wood turning lathe, band saw and pillar drill. Using a bank of 4 'blast gates' allows me to switch the extraction to the desired machine and the cyclone gathers 99% of the dust etc providing quick and simple disposal. The high inrush current when using both motors, my usual set up, was sufficient to trip the workshop 16 amp ringmain trip. Changing this to a 32 amp solved the problem. I am aware that this reduces the safety factor, but as I have only one pair of hands and therefore only use one machine, plus the dust extraction system, at anyone time I don't see this as a concern. All in all I'm very pleased with my system and the 'vacuum' at the heart of it."
